Thames Foreshore Oyster Amulet

Part of Local Grown, an exhibition with Anna Reading for the Sydenham Artists Trail.

This oyster shell, found on the Thames foreshore outside the Tate Modern has been hand cast in pewter. The pewter itself, is the result of melted down and recycled beer tankards that were sourced from Sydenham’s local charity shops.

The making process has been documented in a video series titled, Making Things With Annie.
