Pulp Sculptuur : Solo Exhibition at Amp Gallery

The first collection of twenty-one lamps produced under the name Pulp Sculptuur were shown together in an solo exhibition at Amp Gallery, London in June 2021.

The form of each lamp took on references from traditional domestic lighting design and it's interpretation in the set design of post-war Hollywood cinema and alternative design culture.

Alongside the lamps, included in the exhibition were 2D wall mounted sculptures entitled ‘Lamp Shadows’ (2021) and a series of staged images of each of the lamps on display.

These were individually photographed in my Woolwich studio and collaged using colours and texture sourced directly from the images themselves.
